So for some reason I occasionaly have insomnia. I'm not sure what causes it or why but last night was one of those nights! I had a wonderful day at a church picnic yesterday and with my boys last night. I tried playing on the computer and watching tv but was so tired they just gave me a headache, so off I go to bed around 8pm. I knew it was early, but hey I was tired I should fall right to sleep, right? WRONG! Although my body did relax and my headache subsided somewhat, I tossed and turned ALL NIGHT! GGRRRRR!!!! And now I am up at 5am groggy and exhausted and trying not to think about how I will teach all those kids Sunday School (ours starts at 2pm) when I know I'll be ready for a nap by then.

Do you ever struggle with insomnia? What do you do to help yourself fall asleep?


  1. Sometimes a relaxing bath can help. Sometimes not, I used to spend full nights watching infomerials.

  2. Yea I thought about a bath before bed too! LOL I will try it next time! :)

  3. When I have trouble sleeping I like to listen to meditation CDs and lie down with an eyemask. Sorry, I know this is late replying.
